Worship Notes:
The Ascension of Christ, though often overlooked, has many wide-ranging implications for both the study of theology and practical everyday living. Today we celebrate and explore this aspect of Christ’s victory over death and ruling over life. We are reminded that Christ is our hope, that He is seated on the Judgment throne, and that he administers mighty works in the here and now for the poor and weak. The God of Abraham fulfilled his promise not just in Christ’s death and resurrection, but also in His ascension.
