In the Presbyterian Church in America, the congregation has the responsibility and privilege to nominate and call men to the role of deacon and elder (including pastors).
Our Elders
Elders are shepherds of the congregation. They are examples to the flock, overseers of the household of God, and teachers of God’s word. The elders regularly appoint and commission both men and women to ministry leadership and service. Ask for the current leadership contact info to get involved!

Our Deacons
The role of a deacon is one of sympathy and service, following the example of Jesus. Our Form of Government observes that “it expresses also the communion of saints, especially in their helping one another in time of need.” Though we will not “deacon” perfectly, we trust that God will use sinful men to His glory and to the great comfort of His people.
